Membership

Membership Policy

As a private members' golf club seeking to offer the best playing circumstances on the course, the number of playing memberships is limited to a fixed quota of Full (7 day) and Restricted (5 Day) for both men and ladies. The turnover of places is low, but we do currently have vacancies for playing membership.

Joining the Club

Please contact the club office on 01438 812752.

When we have received your application for membership you will be invited to meet the Membership Director or Club Captain to discuss your golfing experience and ability and to progress your application.

Social Membership

Social Membership is available when the are no current vacancies for playing membership. Social members have full access to the Clubhouse facilities including all entertainments, access to the golf practice facilities, and subject to handicap may play the course on weekdays on payment of the 'reduced' green fee. Social members are not eligible for competitions.

Other Membership Options

House Membership

House membership is intended for those who wish to use the social facilities in the Clubhouse but do not wish to become playing members. However, House members may use the golf practise facilities and play the course during the week on the same basis as Social members.

Junior Membership

The is no lower age limit for entrants, the only criteria being whether they can participate independently in the junior golf programme. Juniors aged 16 and over are not are not accepted.

Junior are restricted in the times at which they can play at the weekends.

The Club offers a Captain's Scholarship scheme for promising juniors that pays for lessons with the Club Professional.

Juniors have their own competitions and can conditionally enter some Club events. Furthermore, juniors who are single figure handicap are normally invited to participate in all competitions and are unrestricted in when they can play.

Subject to adequate participation in the Club's activities and handicap criteria Junior members may be offered Cadet membership at age 18, with the prospect of Full membership at age 21 without the requirement to pay the joining fee.
