Green Fee Visitors
Visitors are welcome to play the course and make full use of the Clubhouse facilities. Naturally there are a few rules that we ask both members and visitors to observe, see local rules for visiting players and if you have any queries in this respect please ask the Professional or the Clubhouse staff.
When to play
The course is built on clay and can be slow to get going after a cold winter. Generally the course is at its best from mid May onwards. In winter, we make use of winter greens whenever there is frost or the course is very wet, and as there may also be a trolley ban, it is worth checking with the Professional before turning up.
Your round at Knebworth
Casual visitors not accompanied by a member can play at anytime except weekends, Bank Holidays, between Christmas and New Year, and when the course is closed.
Handicap certificate
You will need to provide a handicap certificate (Club or EGU Associate) or evidence of a society handicap.
Tee Times
We do not reserve tee times for casual play and booking is not possible. However, it is worth checking with the Professional that there are no matches or societies.
Refreshments
Meals and Bar service are not available before 11am, chocolates and soft drinks are always available from the pro-shop. there is a hot drinks vending machine in the entrance foyer to the men's locker room. A full bar/catering service is available every day from 11am, with the hot meals service closing mid afternoon in winter.
